Opened in 1994 this establishment has become a Kona icon. Besides serving its world famous ales, lagers and porters, this is also a pizza parlor and restaurant. Offering delicious pizzas and entrees, at reasonable prices($10-25) this is definitely one of our favorite Kailua Kona restaurants.

Shivalik's Indian Cuisine, Kailua Kona Ali'i Drive

Our favorite restaurant! Attitude and Libido boosting entrees! With free parking @ the King Kam Hotel when you mention their name, you can enjoy a rare genre of food right on the corner where Palani meets Ali'i drive. Rich, exotic herbs and spices with healthful foods. Curries- Lamb, chicken, local fish, Keahole prawns, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Authentic old-world Indian Tandoor clay oven. Ali'i Drive's only buffet! Daily Buffet 11am-3pm only $13.95. Entrees can be ordered mild to flaming hot, and there are chicken strip plates for the kids. Happy hour 3-5 pm with free Indian snacks, $3 dollar domestic beers. Dinner prices range from $12-$25. Five stars!

Asian Style Natural Food. This unique restaurant is committed to only using the finest ingredients. Most of the ingredients are organic from local sources. The owners even grows a good amount of the produce at their farm. Wonderful smoothies, juices, and gelatos. Open for lunch and dinner Monday thru Saturday, closed Sunday. Excellent Chicken and Seafood dishes or there are incredible vegan dishes if you are strict vegatarian. Prices for lunch are from $9-15, and dinner prices range from $12-25.

Another unique restaurant. Fresh seafood, steaks, pasta, and salads prepared with a Hawaiian flair. I love the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Taste sensations that are one of a kind, right down to their coconut dinner rolls. Open for lunch and dinner with lunch priced from $10-15 and dinner from $15-30. Full bar available, with a excellent wine list. Reservations are recommended.

This restaurant has survived the several years I've been here, and the first Kona restaurant I ever ate at. Great Margaritas, Great home-made salsas, creamy caramel flans, and crispy churros.
