Painted Silk Scarves by Patti Pease Johnson
Paint your own silk scarf! Friday, July 22, 1-4pm at Showcase Gallery and Beads in Kainaliu, Kona. We will discuss color theory and techniques, learn to stretch a 9"x54" crepe scarf on a frame, mix dyes and paint. Have fun while you create a stylish personal statement. Then make a sampler painting on China silk with wax tool and dyes. No experience necessary. Taught by Patti Pease Johnson. $60 plus materials fee $10. Deadline to register is July 20.
