Big Island Vog Conditions, 3rd grade teacher in KONA needs help!

Need to have accurate VOG air quality updates/ everything is hush hush these days-
can't see the mountains or ocean 2day !

Kids having headaches, runny noses,
feeling tired.

Kauai is suffering, also.

Help !!!

Aloha

The best links that I have found for monitoring the vog, are below.

This one has satellite images of SO2 and clouds,

Vog Satellite Images

This one has air quality samples from around the island. You must download Java to view it, and it is not always the most accurate.

Daily Vog Readings

Finally the last link has emissions from Kilauea.

Need for up to date VOG information NEW
by: I.S

Aloha,
I am relatively new to the island, moved with my family from Tokyo last year, and I too am having difficulty finding reliable information on air quality and VOG levels. I don't really understand why this is the case.
Anyway, only reliable source is from the NOAA satellite and information service, but they only update twice a day or so. Is there really nobody keeping an eye on the situation and posting it for all of Hawaii's residents and visitors to see.
