Happiness Is The Way
Day of Mindfulness Meditation set for May 19th in HPP. The first Day of Mindfulness in Paradise Park – back in March - was so well received that another is planned for May.
Hawaiian Paradise Park: Geared for beginner/intermediate levels, this day of mindfulness is a nonsectarian gathering to more deeply experience understanding, awareness and compassion. Meditation sufficiently unifies body, mind, speech and soul that scientists and spirit guides from many faiths regard it as indispensable. Mindfulness Meditation calms the body and frees the mind so that concentration and insight can bring forth happiness in oneself and peace in the world.
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. we will meditate silently while sitting and walking, hear a short talk, exercise, eat in silence, relax deeply and share uplifting stories. Many enjoy these extended opportunities to stop, look at and listen to the beauty and joy available to us right now. Please join us for this auspicious and rejuvenating mini-retreat. Cost: $10.00 + donation for Host. Deadline, May 17th. Instruction and orientation provided.

Hosted by Marty Mimmack, M.Ed.
I have been following the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay) since 2004. This mindfulness event is based on Thay’s books, talks and tradition of Engaged Buddhism. Mindfulness however, is widely regarded as a universal practice beneficial to people of all faiths.
