Hawai`i Island Chamber of Commerce Presents the E Malama Aina Festival in Hilo at Mo`oheau Park





A project of the Hawai`i Island Chamber of Commerce, the E Malama Aina Festival is a 2-day family festival taking place Nov. 7 & 8 at Hilo's Mo`oheau Park.

On Friday there will be a early presentation from 10:00am - 1:00pm: Educational Programming for Youth @ Mooheau Park / By the YWCA of Hawaii Island.

Also on November 7th, there will be a short film festival with focus on sustainability at the Palace Theater in Downtown Hilo from 5:30pm - 10:00pm.

The Festival jumps in to full swing on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Full of family fun, interactive activities, and a strong commitment to a traditional Hawaiian perspective on sustainability, the event will offer consumers and businesses a firsthand look at Hawai`i Island innovations and best practices aimed at sustainable, environmentally progressive living.
