Shaka Soap: Hawaiian Soap, Balms, Lotions, and More
A Purely Loveable all-natural local soap company. Handmade with natural glycerin, all natural essential scents, plant oils, natural colorants, and an age-old folk remedy for skin: Goats Milk, it does a remarkable job at rebuilding the skin.
With beautifully simple recycled packaging, Shaka Soap is a classy, natural choice for any budget. It's really hard to stick with the "natural cleanser" trend when it is unaffordable. But this Hawaiian soap company really steps up to bat with the choices in pricing. Look for island inspirations, visually and with the scents...there is a heavenly softening sandalwood soap, red-white awapuhi (ginger) soap, Charming "Hapuna Shores" bar with a beach/blue sky swirl motif and a warmly sweet clean scent. All of her hawaiian soaps use natural colorants as well.
Just a little bit of the all-natural bar Hawaiian soap on a wash cloth or loofah, you can get the job done without over-drying your skin or allowing man-made chemicals to enter your bloodstream, the aina,or the ocean. The goat's milk really does a number for your skin-softening, gently exfoliating and boosting the cellular structure with proteins. This stuff leaves your skin soft without leaving an oily residue.
The Lotions are top-notch, with a cream-like consistency. It starts out with a stiff viscosity like a cream, then your skin eats it right up. Certainly a skin food, not mineral-oil based. There are many options available when it comes to scents on her lotions and Hawaiian soaps: You can get almost any scent you want done, special orders are warmly welcomed. Great for special occasions when you want door prizes or goody bags, or if there are only one or two scents out there in the world that you will actually wear.
The Caramel Lip butter is by far an excellent treat for the lip balm-aholics. This stuff is creamy, sweet and good without leaving a melty residue, or burning the back of your throat (if it chokes you, you shouldn't wear it! LOL! Yuck! Mineral Oil does this!) My husband likes it, and he never likes any kine lip stuff on me! It is light weight and long wearing, with a sweet pick-me-up smell. I love it, definitely one of my favorite lip balms.
You should stop by her site and check out her other items: She has soothing salves, sugar scrubs, bath salts and gift sets. Her items have a classy look and would make a great gift...
