You can easily fill up on the enormous selection of appetizers at Roy Yamaguchi's cool and classy place overlooking a lake.

Roy's restaurants are well known for top-notch seafood entrées prepared with a pan-Asian twist.

Some of our favorite examples include the blackened island ahi with spicy soy-mustard-butter sauce, or jade-pesto steamed Hawaiian whitefish with cilantro, ginger, and garlic.

An extensive wine-by-the-glass list offers good pairing options.

Be forewarned that the place tends to get noisy.

To whom it may concern,while we were on the big island visiting for the first time,we decided to do a little research on your restaurant,as far as dinning.We decided to have dinner the day we were departing back to Switzerland,I cannot say enough about your untouchable professionalization and outstanding Manager Arnie and the very well trained staff not mention the incredible food,presentations,it made our stay on the big island for the first time impeccable.I am taking this information and unforgettable experience that your outstanding manager Arnie along with his staff home with us,as we shall treasure it,till we return again.I would definitely share this with all people from Switzerland,thank you Arnie well done.I only hope that all the Managers were as professional as Arnie in all your restraunt chains.Again thank you.
