Local celebrities to perform at the Hospice of Hilo’s Celebration of Life

Well known local bands Fem me Fatale, The Brown Ohana and Tropical Blend along with 2010 Miss Aloha Hawaii Mahealani Nakaakihi and MC JE Orozco will be donating their ti me and talents at the Hospice of Hilo’s 6th Annual Celebration of Life fundraiser on Saturday, May 15th,. This free event begins at 3:00 p.m. at Wailoa State Park under the large pavilion.

Hospice of Hilo invites the whole community to attend this family friendly event that offers entertain me nt, activities, food, and live music. Vegetarian chili or kalua cabbage plates will be available for sale. Share stories, me et new friends, and learn about Advance Care Directives, assistance and programs available in the community. The event is designed to celebrate life and share in re me mbrance of loved ones who has passed.

A Memory Walk at 4:00 p.m. and at sunset the beautiful Luminary Ceremony will also be featured.
