Puna Chefs' and Farmers' Culinary Festival - October 2011

From October 22-29, kamaaina and visitors will gather at Kalani to experience the vibrant home-grown cuisine of Puna.

The Puna Chefs' and Farmers' Culinary Festival will include:

-> Opening Harvest Festival, Dance and Featured Chef Dinner - Saturday 22 October

-> Farm-to-Fork: A full week of culinary classes, farm and market tours, and activities, Saturday 22 - Saturday 29 October

->Two special tasting dinners prepared by local guest chefs, Monday 24 and Thursday 27 October

-> Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner: "The Last Supper", Friday Oct 28th


Learn about and savor delicious Hawaiian and Pacific food grown and prepared locally in Puna.

Aloha, the opening of the festival is on October 22.

According to the UH Hilo events schedule, there is no current conflict with other culinary events: http://hilo.hawaii.edu/news/?m=2

Is the opening the same day as the Culinary thing in Hilo for the University?
