Reggae band SOJA, which has awed Hawaii music lovers with their lyric storytelling and free-flowing rhythms, kicks off their "Strength To Survive" 2012 North American tour right here in Hawaii with dates on Kauai, Oahu, Maui and the Big Island!



Hailing from Washington D.C., members Jacob Hemphill (vocals, guitar), Bobby Jefferson (bass), Ken Brownell (percussion), Ryan Berty (drums), and Patrick O'Shea (keyboards) have pursued their musical goals together since childhood, perfecting their sound for over a decade. SOJA's appealing take on roots reggae with a unique American perspective has caught island residents by storm; their music is always in rotation and always attracting new fans to their legion of loyal followers.



SOJA headlines at roughly 150 worldwide shows per year, often sharing the stage with notable artists such as Citizen Cope, Matisyahu, Ben Harper, Slightly Stoopid, Damian Marley, Govt Mule, Umphrees McGee, and Steel Pulse.
