You fully expect to see Hawaiian paniolos sauntering up to the bar here -- and it's not unheard of.

Tante's is the John Wayne version of an elegant dining room with plenty of steaks and ribs on the menu to satisfy even the hungriest cowpoke at prices that won't break the bank.

And of course, since this is Hawaii after all, expect to see multicultural dishes rubbing elbows with cowboy classics.

Locals flock here for fantastic Filipino dishes like pork adobo (slow-cooked pork simmered in garlic, oil, and vinegar) and chicken lau lau (ground chicken with spices and taro, wrapped in ti leaf and steamed).
