Concerned friend of Hawaii

Aloha, David,
there is so much good news coming from the Hawaiian islands from a local Hawiian nespaper and the Ke Kumu 'ike I receive, that the people of Hawai'i will won day, soon, regain their rightful place as the Kingdom of Hawiian a sovereign, independant nation mainly through the power of Ike, knowledge. The knowledge among those who care and our concerned that a very great injustice has occurred and is about to be corrected. Listening to the wonderful, brilliant music of Helen Desha Beamer, as played by Kapono Beamer, her greatgrandson makes me think and also saddens me that the very important contributions of Hawaiian musicians, statesman, philosophers have been ignored and up to the present forgotten. I have one request though, and please respond with more than one line, how would I as a non-kanaka maoli register or voice my congratulations on the success of the Native Hawaiian Roll Commisssion as a very important first step to nationhood and sovereignty. Also it is heartening to see that the "ceded" lands can not be sold by the State of Hawai'i because the ceded lands were stolen not owned by the State and hopefully the Hawaiian Supreme Court will uphold the decisio of the lower court.
Mahalo, thank you
Richard
